Suzanne Feinstein has s Bachelors in Horn Performance  from the State University of West Georgia and a Masters degrees in Horn Performance from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has studied with James Sommerville, Principal Horn of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Jean Rife, prize-winning hornist of the Boston Baroque Orchestra, Scott L. Taube, and Bielefelder Philharmoniker hornist Laura Hall-Haspelmann. She has participated in master classes and chamber ensembles with Robert Merfeld, Norman Bolter, Eric Ruske, John Heiss, Ludmilla Lifson, David Begnoche and the Empire Brass Quintet.

 

Since moving to the Seattle Washington area, Suzanne has performed with the Federal Way Symphony, Washington Wind Symphony, Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Rainier Symphony, and the Bellevue Opera, and freelances in orchestra pits, choral ensembles and ballet orchestras. In 2008, Suzanne won the 3rd Horn position with the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra, formerly the Bellevue Philharmonic. She currently substitutes as assistant principal and third horn for Symphony Tacoma and 2nd horn in the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra. She is a founding member of the Pacific Sound Woodwind Quintet.
