Pamela Liu, violinist/violist, has been in demand as a performer and pedagogue since returning to the Northwest after previously studying in violin performance at  Rice University and playing overseas in Taipei, Taiwan as well as concertizing throughout Europe and Asia, with the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra. 
 
A devoted mentor to young musicians, Ms. Liu coaches group with the Bellevue Youth Orchestra, the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestras and Edmonds Community College. Her students can be heard performing at Solo and Ensemble, Seattle Young Artist Music Festival and Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside, with All-State and All-Northwest Orchestras, in the MusicWorks student showcases at Resonance at the Soma Towers, and at various retirement homes and famers markets in the appropriate seasons, as Seattle-weather allows! 

Mrs. Liu is currently the concertmaster of the Cascade Symphony, section member of the Yakima Symphony, and enjoys recording on soundtracks for video games and movies such as “Volta” for Cirque du Soleil, “Dota2” and composer, Ryuichi Sakamoto’s film, “The Revenant”. When not practicing or teaching, she or her guitar-playing husband are running their two tween-aged kids around to various activities.

Also teaches in Mandarin Chinese.
